Carl Sagan's 90th Birthday Celebration
I aided in planning the Carl Sagan Institute's and the College of Arts & Sciences’ celebration of Prof. Sagan's legacy in a day of science, music, and more.
I aided in planning Carl Sagan's 90th birthday celebration, which reached hundreds of in-person guests and thousands more online.
Opening the event was Prof. Sagan's longtime collaborator and widow, Emmy and Peabody award-winning Ann Druyan. She co-wrote the original “Cosmos” series alongside Sagan, co-created the motion picture “Contact,” and is writer, producer, and director of the award-winning second and third seasons of “Cosmos.”
Carl Sagan Institute team members from the Colleges of Arts & Sciences, Engineering, and Agriculture and Life Sciences then offered talks on their exciting research.
