CV includes in-prep publications and presentations.
Education
Cornell University
2020-2024
I graduated in May 2024 with a B.A. in Astronomy and a science communication minor from Cornell University.
Work & Research Experience
Planetarium Facilitator,
St. Louis Science Center
August 2021 - January 2024
I presented my own live, 45-minute star shows to upwards of 150 guests using the Zeiss Universarium Mark IX projector.
Astronomy Researcher,
Cornell University
September 2022 - Present
I conduct exoplanet research under Prof. Lisa Kaltenegger, Director of the Carl Sagan Institute. I calculated new estimates for planets that orbit in the "habitable zone," where liquid water might exist on their surface. Starting in summer 2024, I also analyze hot Jupiter transit timing variations and probing the chemical composition of hot Jupiter atmospheres with Bayesian models. In May 2024, I was nominated for Cranson and Edna B. Shelley Undergraduate Research Award.
Science Communicator,
Carl Sagan Institute
March 2022 - Present
I co-organized Carl Sagan’s 90th Birthday events at Cornell for hundreds of guests alongside CSI Director Lisa Kaltenegger. I managed event logistics and social media, conducted interviews, and edited videos.

I have written articles, tweets, and Instagram posts about Carl Sagan–related events and recent research out of the Institute, providing members of the public with easy access to technical subjects.
Awards
Second Prize
Griffith Observer
Science Writing Contest
In 2023, I placed second in the Eleventh Annual Joan and Arnold Seidel Griffith Observer Science Writing Contest for my article "When Spaceships Pass in the Night: Exoplanets and the Search for Life."
